Come and learn from some of the finest coaches and dance instructors in the world. Wisconsin State Dance Camp is held in the Imprerial Ballroom on the 7th floor of the Pfister Hotel.
 
This is a perfect venue for all professionals and amateurs to listen and learn from our outstanding panel of teachers. So, whether you are looking to tune up your social dance skills or you are seeking advice on how to become a better competitor, the Wisconsin State Dance Camp is what you are looking for!

Marianne Nicole                                RUMBA ANYONE?

One of the most popular of all the dances the Rumba is perfect for dancers of all levels and abilities! If there is one coach that can show you how to get the maximum out of this dance it is Marianne! Emphasis will be on the rhtyhm and timing of rumba and of course the proper motion and leg action.

Michael Mead & Toni Redpath          HOW I CAN IMPROVE MY PARTNER!

Well, we have all asked ourselves that question! This is a class that is designed to investigate the important fundamentals of partnership and what it takes to become a great leader and follower. Using the American Smooth Style dances, Toni and Michael will show you what you need to know to make your partner perfect! :)

It's one thing to take a dance lesson and another to understand how to get the most out of it! This United States International Champion and World finalist will give you the information and skills you need to getting the most out of a dance lesson. After all, it is all about the learning process...

Rufus Dustin                   THE DIFFERENCES AND SIMILARITIES OF AMERICAN RHYTHM AND INTERNATIONAL LATIN

This class will help competitors to finally understand and resolve the differences between these two different but similar styles! whether you dance both of these styles or hope to in the future, you will definitley want this information from this World Class Coach and former United states Champion. Using the Cha-Cha and the Rumba Rufus will answer the questions we have all been asking...what is the difference really?

Jonathan Roberts           SMOOTH PERFORMANCE

So ok, you now have your steps down and your ready to get out on the floor but you forgot one tiny little thing.... How to perform what you know! Jonathan, a former United States American Smooth Champion and "Dancing with the Stars" celebrity will teach you how to take what you know and turn it into an exciting performance. He will share his secrets on how he quickly got those celebrities (with very little dance experience) to perform at a high level!

Michael Mead & Toni Redpath                            FOCUS, DYNAMICS AND INTENT

Three of the most important elements to becoming a great social or competitive dancer. You know how when you watch your favorite couple dance? You know there is something very special about them that sets them off from the rest. Your not quite sure what it is or why they have it and other don't but it is special. Well now you can have that special quality too by learning how to apply Focus, Dynamics and Intent from. No one better to teach that than one of the US's most treasured coaches and former US champions! These elements will be taught through using the American Smooth dances.

Tony Meredith & Isabella Lewandowski          CHOREOGRAPHY CONCEPTS & SHOWDANCE CHOREOGRAPHY

What a way to finish Dance Camp! Tony and Isabella are two of the finest Coaches, Choreogrphers and Dancers in our industry. This class is for everyone including teachers and is designed to help us to understand some of the concepts in putting your routines together and how to make patterns we use all the time come to life! You don't want to miss this class!
