Note: Pro/Am entries only, for Pro/Am solo exhibitions, proficiency freestyles and Pro/am junior entries danced on Sunday, the teacher will receive 1 point for the entry towards top teacher. Proficiency categories are 1 point per entry.

Top Gun Teacher

Last years Top Gun teacher was Scott Anderson from Lakeville, Minnesota. Scott competed with students in International and American championship and scholarship events and battled hard against some very strong opponents to hold the overall best average and to walk away with a cash prize of $1,000. This is in addition to top teacher prizes offered at the event. If you want to qualify for this year's Top Gun title, you must have a minimum of 3 students dancing Championship or Scholarship events.

Top Gun Pro-Am Male and Female

The title of Top Gun female student went to Sophia D'Angelo from Washington DC. Sophia, with her instructor Mike Barris, competed throughout the week in all four styles and at various levels to win this prestigious award. This is her First Top Gun title. The competition was fierce, with many of the events involving quarter and semi-final rounds. Top Gun Pro/Am winners will recieve scholarship awards and a Top Gun prize.

Pro-Am and Amateur Showcase Challenge

The top three solo exhibitions will dance on Thursday evening. The winner will be presented with a $200.00 scholarship!

Top Studio

The top 5 studios of the Wisconsin State Dancesport Championships will be recognized on Saturday evening. A studio must consist of at least 2 instructors and 5 students to qualify.
